An abandoned church in the woods
In this church, I found an altar made from an old millstone and a carriage. Getting in was already awkward: an old, wobbly ladder led inside. On my way out, it collapsed beneath me. Luckily, I got away with a fright and a laugh at myself.

I filmed the visit with the Osmo 360. In the film, you can look around the church yourself.
These are the first things I notice inside:
An altar made from an old millstone,
an empty, open tabernacle,
broken stained-glass windows.
There's also a carriage in the middle of the room.

An altar, windows and a carriage
Much of the church interior is still recognisable, even though plenty is damaged. The millstone altar and carriage especially stay with me. I hadn't expected to find them here.

What remains of the church
The windows and furnishings are clearly damaged. The collapsed ladder reminded me how careful I need to be here. I don't enter an abandoned site without permission.
